We’re Hiring: A Letter to Our Lead Developer

If you’re a dev reading this, chances are: you’ve worked with so many clients/companies but haven’t really felt at home in any of them.
Maybe your professional career is still young, but you’ve built stuff. Maybe you’ve done a lot of freelance coding in the past. Or maybe you’ve tried to build your own product but found the journey too tough. What matters most is that you’ve done stuff. You’ll thrive here if you can believe in a big vision, you can wear many hats + you don’t mind experimenting, shipping small, and learning fast.
At Hammet, we are hiring you to lead a movement, and feel at home while doing so.
The Journey that Led me to Build Hammet Labs was a crazy one (7 years)
I had been a Freelancer for 5 years, 2019 - 2023
From Upwork to Fiver, to getting jobs on Linkedin… There’s no where I didn’t freelance.
1. Started an Agency in 2020, didn’t make as much money as I wanted so I shut it down. 💀💀
2. In 2021 I got into Web3 (Blockchain), to trade crypto memecoins. Obviously I made a lot of money but lost even more money 😂😂
3. 2022, I returned back to freelancing but in Web3 this time - worked for a whole lot of clients(87+), the money was in dollars so it was a good run. Did all kinds of Marketing, built startup teams and Web3 Agencies. 👨🔧🏃♂️
4. 2023, we started building Konoha as a Web3 University because many many people had been asking me how they can also make dollars from Web3. 💼💸
5. 2024, We expanded our Efforts to KFC: Organizing 6 different Financial conferences at 4 universities in Nigeria, across 2 years (2024-2025). 🤼🧏
6. 2025, I left everything & went straight to Network school In Asia, to learn how to build a global tech company because everything I had built so far was still mediocre (to me) - I wanted more. ✈🌎
7. At Network school, I met all kinds of founders in crypto and AI, all building future ChatGPTs & future Ethereums. I Spent almost a year carefully learning from these founders, including Balaji and other guest lecturers. 🤯😋
8. This Video Summarizes all that I learnt from those geniuses and why I started Hammet Labs 🛠⚖
9. We have already shipped the MVP of HammetAi and 30 Students in the Latest Konoha cohort have used it. We achieved all these with a small team of just 4 people… 🤏🛩
10. But we’re now expanding the team to scale the Ai, Raise funding, get into Y-combinator (within the next 2-3 years) and exit through acquisition in 7-10 years, probably by Google since they are our competitors and are notorious for buying off their competitors or to expand their T.A.M. 👺👹
11. That’s where YOU come in. We are inviting you to join our founding team as a Lead Dev. Note that we are not looking for a perfect dev: don’t shy away from applying because you don’t have all the skills listed below. We believe in you just as you are: We know that in a few weeks of working with us, you’d grow so much you’d be unrecognizable (We’re sure because we follow strong time-tested business philosophies built on historically-proven company-scaling principles, some of which are listed in the footnotes below). 👇👌
12. Job description - Who We’re Looking For: (See Flyer below) 🛠⚖

13. Above all, you must truly believe you can build a billion dollar company. I will join you & the team physically once I’m back from Asia next year, and together we’ll build to scale in the Ai industry. 🤖💻
14. Perks: Once you are picked, you get free housing at our Startup apartment in Western Nigeria, which includes Good power supply and internet, Plus a share in the monthly revenue we get from B2B customers, an ESOP plan, and vested equity (tentative depending on your work rate and how long you work with us), plus the chance to have an exciting experience working with a small, bootstrapped, and ambitious African team building the next paystack in the Ai-Edtech industry.
15. Go ahead and Apply here → Apply
See you,
Witty Prince
